"Sverker"
Sverker, "My First Car !" (roadworthy & registered that is..). I found advertised in the Swedish Club Newsletter, It was owned by two Swedish tourists since Feb. 2000. Before them an elderly man had owned it since it was brand new and has every service receipt - not one km over any scheduled service, Amazing! Obsessive even maybe. Sverker was bought for A$1600 (ca. 8000 - 8500 Kr). It is in very good and "original" condition, except for new radio and amplifier. It has an inline 3.0L 6cyl Motor (B30), power steering, power brakes, red leather upholstery, air conditioning, automatic (had preferred manual) and fuel injection. So you can understand I'm wraped. Though unfortunately the air-conditioning wasn't working in our HOT summer, and I also had to replace the distributor cap and rotor (they were completely burnt out). The engine and gearbox mounts needed replacing as well.
The photo's above are taken about 60km north of Brisbane at Lake Sommerset and at a lookout at Toowoomaba. The tread on the rear right wheel came off on the way home, though no air was lost.
