For SALE Ford Thunderbird 1973 Coupe - A Legend

Sorry It's Been SOLD

460 CI - V8 petrol or LPG

Right Hand Drive!

With only 100,000 kilometres on the clock, not a speck of rust, this one is ready to go. The vinyl roof is in pristine condition and the leather upholstery has the right smell and is in very good condition for it's age, with no cracks or splits. It has a fresh Safety Certificate (RWC) and fresh LPG control certificate. Registration until December.

The windscreen doesn't even have the slightest stone chip mark. Paintwork is shiny cream all over. It has electric seat tilt and lumbar controls, electric controlled mirrors and windows, electric central locking. Control lamps indicate low on fuel (as well as a gauge), when doors are open or the boot is open. Interior lights include ceiling as well as lights around the floor areas and in the boot and under the bonnet.

There are two large loudspeakers in the back and a Sony stereo CD player and radio with a great sound.

Customised to handle great. The car hasn't got that wallowing soft suspension you normally find on Yankee cars (which could make you feel seasick), but is very firm in cornering without wobble. The ground clearance is generous (which is otherwise often a problem with Yankee cars).

It has large brand new white walled tyres all around, a new radiator and exhaust system replaced 2.5 years ago.

The engine is a 460 cu (7700 cubic centimetres) dual fuel (Petrol or LPG) V8 with power brakes, power steering and integrated air-conditioning. Fuel running cost on LPG amounts to about ONLY 17 cents per kilometre, so we don't count kilometres when we go places. The LPG fuel, like the petrol, are both hidden behind the rear rego plate.
