Haines Hunter 520SLC

Seawolf, let her go a while and the hull should be dry.Our Haines Hunter, or 'Seawolf' as we call him has been in our ownership since August 1996, we are the third owners of this magnifient craft and have allthe service receipts since 1996 to prove it.

'Seawolf' is equiped with a very capable Yamaha V4 outboard 2-stroke motor rated at 115hp. The craft is capable in many ways and we reqularly use it for waterskiing, fishing trips, overnighters and discovering Moreton Bay.

We have used it to take seven passengers and enough gear including tents to stay on South Stradbroke island for four days, which is only accessible by private transport. We have crossed over to Tangalooma Resort on Moreton Island and stayed a full week twice. From experience we have found that to Tangalooma the water is like a mirror and we cruise over in half an hour doing 35 knots. On both home trips there was large swell and windy, though 'Seawolf' managed without any problems.

On some new years celebrations we take the boat on to the Brisbane River to have front row seats of the fireworks and river entertainment.
