MOTORING IN AMERICA - HOME-GROWN DVD.

Insights through a local HOG member's Video Camera lense is now available on DVD.

You may have seen the slide show - but now tape has been put to DVD. It is available to members to view or buy a copy (to replace media stock).

You can expect the background sounds to be dubbed with the usual Rock, Blues & Country music as you get an insight and glimpses of travel through Montana, South Dakota, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Tennessee.

Two 35 min programmes are titled (1) STURGIS 2006; (2) The ROAD TO TENNESSEE.

2006 was the 66th Annual Black Hills rally. This segment mostly shows bikes, bikes, and bikes - as well as iconic tourist locations. Guides were Gary and Andy who led Ralph and Margaret up from Denver CO to South Dakota. Many will remember them from our ride to the Rock Rally in 2005.

Ralph and Margaret then drove from Denver to Tennessee to soak up family life outside Nashville. (Based in Franklin - near where Keith, and now, Nicole have been ranched.) On the way they caught on tape a ROUTE 66 museum, Oklahoma City National Cowboy Museum, live music in Little Rock riverside marketplace and Beal Street Memphis. In downtown Nashville there are clips of national Country Music Museum and an amazing street artist at the Opryland Hotel Resort and convention Centre. Their friends take them for some Saturday produce shopping at Amish community farms near the border to Kentucky. Final clips are in the Smoky Mountains and a "Gold Coast-esque" streetscape in Gatlinburg in West Tennessee.

If you are planning a USA road trip, clips of the journey will alert you to some highway traffic conditions to expect.

For a copy - call Ralph 4922 5053, 0418 738 431 or . (Or see him at Friday Night Drinks.)
