The RockHog Internet Discussion Group.

Once members with internet access have joined this facility, the discussion group in Yahoo is a very feature rich communication tool. It has a calendar feature, where the Club activities could
be maintained. Members can upload files, articles, flyers, maps and photos for others to share.

Correctly used, it's a great grapevine that disseminates information between members as everyone can contribute.

As web master for several other sites, like The Royal Enfield Interceptor group I've seen excellent use of this facility. Please have a quick glance especially at the Interceptor group. It's been going for 7 years and has over 5000 entries of extremely use ful information, like solutions to mechanical issues, buy and sell, rallies and much more. Without joining it, you can still checkout some of the information. This will help you see the potential for Rockhog.

One that comes to mind immediately is as a vehicle to keep everyone informed about the progress of the state rally 2009 organisation. What's happening, which balls are in the air, what are the issues, solutions, maps, task lists, etc. With the facility to upload files, photos etc. Everybody can join in. Nobody needs to be kept in the dark. Ursi can upload pictures from o-seas or Ralph from the next US trip while he's still there.
